Concert at the Heydar Aliyev Center – Dedication to Puccini

On May 3, within the framework of the VI World Intercultural Dialogue Forum, a concert entitled "Dedication to Puccini" was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the death of the Italian composer Giacomo Puccini.

The event featured the performance of the opera "La Bohème" by the eminent composer based on the libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa.

The orchestral and musical arrangement of the work was by Alexander Krempe, the stage design by Grisha Asagarov, and the musical director and conductor was Alberto Veronesi.

Soloists of the "La Scala" Academy performed accompanied by the Fiorentina Chamber Orchestra.

Let us recall that "La Bohème" is a 4-act opera by Giacomo Puccini based on the libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa. It is considered the fourth of Puccini's twelve operas. The libretto is based on Henri Murger's "Scenes from Bohemian Life." The work was first premiered in Turin in 1896 accompanied by the conductor Arturo Toscanini.
